Meet Alden Pennington
As an HR executive for the past 15 years or so, it's easy to see that I believe in the "people" side of the business. In other words, I think the key to building a thriving business is to find really smart people, and to let them do what they do best every day.
My professional career has allowed me to get into some really fun things. I've held a variety of senior level HR positions within the healthcare, technology, manufacturing and distribution industries. Experiencing life in large corporate settings, as well as bootstrapped startups has allowed me access to many different types of leaders and entrepreneurs. In each of these roles, I served as a change agent for high growth and led efforts in talent acquisition, leadership development and organizational restructuring.
For those interested in my education credentials, I'm a graduate of the Gatton School of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky, and received my MBA, summa cum laude, from Sullivan University. In addition, I'm six sigma certified, a Predictive Index certified partner, and have earned the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) designation.
